LegalRefunds and cancelling
Who you pay
Licences bought in Proofroom are sold through Paddle, our payment provider and merchant of record. Paddle takes the payment, adds any tax, sends the receipt and makes any refund, to the payment method you used.
Trials
A trial is free and needs no card. Nothing is charged when it ends.
Cancelling
A licence is paid yearly and renews by itself. You can cancel at any time from the link in Paddle's receipt email, or by writing to us. Cancelling stops the next renewal: your licence keeps working until the end of the year you paid for, and nothing more is charged.
Refunds
Within 14 days. If you ask within 14 days of your first payment, or of a yearly renewal, we refund that payment in full and the licence ends (or goes back to what it was before the renewal).
Added users. If you ask within 14 days of adding users, we refund that charge and the licence goes back to its earlier number of users.
After 14 days. We don't refund the rest of a paid year, unless the law where you are requires it, or Proofroom could not be used for reasons on our side.
Through a reseller or an invoice
If you bought Proofroom from a reseller, their terms apply: ask them. Licences we invoice follow the agreement we signed with you.
How to ask
Write to hello@proofroom.com from your billing email, with your licence ID (on Admin → Licence) or Paddle's receipt. We answer within two working days.
